I am 28 and started following Liverpool in 98 after Owen terrorized Argentina and although I know of the great teams and players of the past I had not seen all that many highlights of those sides, but I have just finished watching a DVD with highlights from 7 games from the 70s and the football those teams played was absolutely incredible. It made me realise what a special team older supporters witnessed. Watching Keegan, Hughes, Case and McDermott was unbelievable. Then there was Steve Heighway. What a player he was. I had always thought Gerrard was the best passer of a football anyone will ever see but after watching Heighway passing the ball, Ive starting to change my mind so my question for the older Liverpool fans is. Heighway or Gerrard whos the better passer of the football ? Thanks for the question Russ. #fran #lfc
