I just received a call from my doctor at the VA. I had an appointment scheduled today at 10:00 however, he had to cancel. Care to guess what his next available appointment is? Try September 15th. Now think about that. Delays in health care like this, especially for those that suffer from TBI and/or PTSD, can literally mean the difference between life and death. 64 days......if this is the standard imagine how many Veterans that really need help or an adjustment to medications may give up in that time frame and do the unthinkable. At an average of 22 Veteran suicides a day, we will lose 1408 Veterans in that time frame. Now we are going to provide health care to 64,000+ illegal aliens as well as flooding the health care system with Lord knows how many people with the ACA (Obama Care). Why dont they take the $3.7 billion and build a damn effective fence, station some National Guardsmen to man it and then start tackling the shortage of health care providers? SMDH, the priorities of the government are pretty jacked.
