I just received a message from a client who was fine with the price when we signed the contract, but now that we are getting ready to start the job asks me if you finish in less time than you told me the job would take, is it too presumptuous of me to ask if you will refund the savings of labor and overhead? I responded: Im a bit confused by your question, but using your logic am I to understand that if the work actually takes longer than I estimated you would be OK with paying extra?
