I just received another call from Public Awareness asking for donations to the various charities they represent. Please be AWARE that only 10% of the money you donate actually goes to the charity. The other 90% goes to administrative fees. So only $1 our of every $10 goes to the charity. Who do you think they are really helping? Giving to charities is great, but try to give directly to the charity. These third party people take too much away from the ones you think you are helping.
