I just received the following SMS from Touch Lebanon: Support the Lebanese Army- الجيش اللبناني by sending an empty SMS to XXXX (on purpose I didnt include the numbers) and youll be donating to them USD $1. My questions to #Touch are: 1- To who is this money going? 2- On what will this money be used? 3- Who is leading this campaign? 4- Is the Lebanese Army informed about this? 5- How will people know how much donations have been made and on what the money has been spent? It is about time more transparency is presented to the Lebanese public! #Lebanon What you could do Touch when sending your SPAM messages is: Include a URL link which leads people to read more about this campaign because the way you are doing it is making the Lebanese Army look very cheap and a begger!
