I just received the following solicitation from Harvard Law Professor, Larry Lissig, who is not the most liberal guy in the world, but he has a major problem with pay-to-play politics, and he describes Rep. Fred Upton (R-MI) as the worst offender of all. Heres his solicitation: This is Mayday PAC co-founder Lawrence Lessig. It’s time. Paul supports real reform legislation, the Government By The People Act, which would match small-dollar donations and decrease the influence of big-money donors. Upton has narrowly held on to this seat for 27 years, and the voters know it’s time for a change. In 2012, Upton won re-election by the smallest margin of his career. Congress is broken because of its dependence on big-money interests, and Chairman Upton is perpetuating this never-ending cycle.
