I just recently picked up the LX 16 and am still trying to get used to the ball. Does anyone who has thrown it know what conditions it works best on? I am a low rev player that likes to go straighter rather than hook the ball and from what I read the LX 16 is supposed to be good for my game. I have an aggressive drilling with moderate length and left it in the box finish and here is what I see so far. When league starts on a freshly oiled pair with stripped backends the ball works really well getting down the lane and having a nice strong arc to the pocket but as the game goes on and the lanes transition I have noticed that the ball starts to hook less and less and is rolling earlier rather than later which is probably what the ball does anyways. I actually practiced on a sports pattern called the Route 66 which is almost reversed with dry boards left of 10 and an out of bounds right of 5 and I found the LX worked much better on that pattern. I am thinking about polishing it up to 1000 or 2000 which Track said should help the Low Rev players so maybe I will try that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
