I just recieved a call from our Director that someone ABANDONED - TopicsExpress

I just recieved a call from our Director that someone ABANDONED their dog on the fence at the ranch. There was no note, no food, no blanket, no water, no nothing. They went past her LOCKED GATE, walked up her driveway and tied this boxer on her fence. We have named him Tanner, have given him dinner and have set him up with some nice digs for the night. HOWEVER; we are AT CAPACITY, WE HAVE NO LEFT OVER FUNDING, its getting COLD, and the HOLIDAYS are right around the corner. We cant afford to take in this dog, to be honest, we have to rearrange crates to make sure he has a warm place to sleep. Its ILLEGAL and WRONG to abandon your dog at someones house... it doesnt matter if we have the rescue or not. Please please please help us help this boy. We cant take him to the shelter- hes terified, cold, and starved. Hes not fixed, is super skinny, and probably hasnt been vaccinated in who knows how long. We are taking him to the vet tomorrow and will have to pay by credit until we arrange funds so that he can get checked out. Can you imagine how he felt when he saw his owner tie him up and walk away. I cant even imagine, I ache for this boy. WE DESPERATELY NEED HELP FOR TANNER VIA THE FOLLOWING: VETTING FUNDING VIA YOUCARING FOSTER HOME FLEA/TICK PREVENTION HEARTWORM MEDS AND TO FIND OUT WHO DID THIS. If you can help in any of these ways, please email [email protected]. We will be around all night to help this boy!!
