I just remembered a story about a merchant seaman who found a couple of weevils in his food told by my grandfather who sailed with the Anchor Donaldson Line. One was fat and well fed and quite crunchy and juicy, the other was much smaller peely wally and not so well fed. The aforementioned merchant mariner decided in conclusion that the latter was the lesser of two weevils. Lol. I hope my grandfather the Old Mariner is at peace. My dad scattered his ashes at sea off the stern of the QE2 before she was decommissioned and he now rests at peace in the mighty rolling Atlantic, befitting a man who had sailed every sea and Ocean and was a part of the Arctic Convoys. Yes my friends I miss the auld sea dog. Funny how you just find yourself thinking of someone you loved like no other, my grandfather was this person to me.
