I just returned from seeing the movie, Heaven Is Real. Viewing it from a ministers point of view, it touched me very deeply. Today I delivered the Mother Days service just four weeks after my mothers transition. As in the movie, life can call me, as a minister, to look even deeper into what is true for me. Todays talk was not a traditional Mothers Day talk as I shared with the congregation my journey and challenges with my mother. As was portrayed by the pastor in the movie, sometimes ministers must come from exactly where they are and in doing so connect with their congregation in a new and deeper way. I want to express my gratitude for the loving congregation that filled our church today. Thank you for being there. Rev. Rose
