I just returned home from the hospital. It was hard to leave but he has someone in the room with him so I could not stay. There is no change for the better. There is further decline today. As I sat there and was talking to him I thought about our first Christmas tree. A funny story.. the tree was cut down from state property and he had to hide in a ditch because a car was coming. When he finally was able to tie it to the car it fell off and half of the branches were missing . He drilled holes in the trunk of the tree and inserted branches. It was a beautiful tree. Funny the things I thought about while sitting there. I begged him to keep fighting this infection...we still need him with us...his family needs him.
