I just said something in a comment and I wanted to expand on it a little. If we all (somewhere in the 6bn range, IIRC) just abolished jobs and worked together to make life awesome for everyone, we wouldnt need to worry about what our neighbors looked like or what they wanted to be. If we were more worried about making sure everyone else had an awesome time living and learning and growing up, the job would be super easy and wed all be doing what we wanted. Im not saying Anarchy, I believe government should be run by elected volunteers who want to make life better for everyone. That may look incredibly close to Anarchy, but it could also look starkly like some parts of the US. We have billions of people in the world today. If we humans work together to get everyone living a life they want, we can accomplish anything. Yeah, Im dreaming a little, but seriously, why are we working so hard to earn our right to live? Were constantly talking about right to life in some circles, lets talk about contributing to society and getting value in return versus working your ass off for almost nothing. In much of the western world, its worse; we have to also deal with consumerism breathing down our necks about the next best thing. We have a lot of people, many of us are connected by this great invention of greater minds trying to collaborate across borders. Why are we not talking to each other more about this? With social media so popular, why are we not leveraging it to talk about working together on a grander scale than any corporation or nation? Who cares which god you believe / dont believe in; dont most of the creeds agree that were above all of that in the end? These are the things that frustrate me about all the problems in the world. They could be so easily resolved by letting go of hate and fear for just a moment and realizing that we are ALL the same people.
