I just saw Gail Harveys video for Christmas in New Orleans. Its stunning, I feel so grateful today. here is a poem for my gratitude. look up Im coming from the sun hear a singing through the sound of everyone a voice like mine is it crazy to hear, in the touching of the water to the rock, ones own relief? I did. in the heart of your own gratitude lit by the crashing stars upon the dashboard is a poem, a picture, a soul. that is when i saw you then. Did you see me? you had not chosen yet which you would be. all are living, carved with form. watch for me again formless, but alive none the less. Ill touch you in the afternoon, with dust i wear from ugly moons waking on my shoulder in a beautiful stage dancing fairies you can only see when you are young, and sleepy, in rays upon your eyelid laying on mothers couch. upside-down. then, when you are old, and wakeful, and slip into that very same ray. ill shoot you with infinity. or with always. or with here. carved, set into your own monument of now. only for a moment though. i am too sweet today and must weep before I am consumed by shadow of forgetfulness so hungry this time of year. smile and I will enter you there, by the dogWood and foxGlove i leave a tunnel. wear your living hands, wont you come meet yourself everywhere?
