I just saw Maleficent at the 5 dollar theatre and it was frickin GOOD. Dont know why the reviews were mixed cuz it was very captivating & powerful with a lovely feminist message behind it. I loved how they made it so Sleeping Beauty didnt need a man to kiss her - it was merely the pure love between her & her godmother. It bred forgiveness and family love. Plus, the guy who plays the crow servant was HOT. :)
