I just saw a post. It may not be accurate. Its information stated that a school in Georgia confiscated Christmas cards because they stated, Merry Christmas. Maybe this did occur: maybe it didnt. Please America: wake up. We cannot continue to deny CHRIST JESUS and survive. My offense is this: if it did occur, where are the Men Of God in pulpits, where are the churches, where are the denominations that are saying, enough. Will we continue building enormous buildings, teaching - weight loss programs, having banquets of pleasure, and teaching psychological jargon while the world, and our beloved homeland goes into the pit of destruction. I never have looked for pulpits to preach nor have I sought the acclaim of leaders or even my peers. I have preacher friends who have told me to my face that I am too straightforward , in my preaching, thus, I am not welcome in their pulpits. I, personally, feel that I am too soft spoken. I sometimes am ashamed that I have not been as straightforward as I should have been. But, if saying from the pulpit that it is shameful to try and keep people from acknowledging CHRIST JESUS in schools at Christmas time then Pastors please, if you were considering asking me to come preach for you, please change your mind and dont ask me. Maybe Im old: maybe Im set in my ways: maybe Im too far out of step with reality: maybe Ive, lost it, so to speak. Rebuke me, talk about me, vote me out, stay away from me, dont ask me to come your way. I just simply am confessing that I cannot refrain from speaking HIS TRUTH. This is not a big deal for, in reality, Ive been preaching this way for 51 years. Maybe this is the reason that I havent been anywhere, havent accomplished anything, havent been successful as far as this world is concerned: but Ill just press on in faith.and Ill seek to tell it like it is, according to SCRIPTURE. I cannot seek the favor of man. I dare not deny my LORD AND MASTER. Should I prepare to preach on the street corner now. I think Im ready. Dont know : well see.
