I just saw a very alarming story on ctv2 news Victoria b.c. on the television.I went to the ctv2 news site to find this very important information to post.Only to find out they did not have the story or video to share,guess they didnt find it important enough.So,I am putting on my journalism hat.Earlier this week an amazing Greyhound dog named Larry was on flight via Air Canada from I believe Sanfrancisco to Vancouver Island.Strict instructions were given to Not let Larry out of his crate,unless he was in a safe contained area.Apparently,the employees of Air Canada some how Lost Larry the Greyhound when an employee did let him out of his crate some where,possibly on the runway.He has been missing since Monday.His owner and bestfriend was dying and has since passed away.Because she knew she was terminally ill she made arrangements for her beloved friend to be adopted by an amazing family here on Vancouver Island.An email was sent from one Air Canada employee to what they thought was going to another Air Canada employee.Welll,the email accidently was sent to C.B.S in this email,the sender advises the recipient to ignore the questions from the Media.Here is the exact email as stated I think I would just ignore,it is local news doing a story on a lost dog.Their entire government is shut down and about to default and this is how the U.S media spends its time, In a statement provided to CTV British Columbia,Air Canada acknowledged that inappropriate commentswere made in response to follow-up questions regarding Larry.The awesome British Columbia couple,from Campbell River,here on Vancouver Island who were to adopt Larry have stated they were also very displeased with the way Air Canada has handled the situation.I believe the only reason the Vancouver Island people put it so eloquently is because Canadians are known for the most part to be very kind and polite.I am about to book a trip to the U.S I would just like Air Canada to know,I and many other outraged people and our pets will No longer be flying with you.I was also told by another reliable source,that Larry has been referred to as its Just a Dog Really?Just a dog.While my and others that have Just a Dog will happily flying with Just another Airline.
