I just saw an ad on TV encouraging people to incorporate or form an LLC to protect their small business from liability. It is ambiguous stuff like this that confuses people. Its also why I now teach a class through Communiversity on selecting an entity. Before spending money on starting an LLC or incorporating, talk to a tax person who can explain it to you. Maybe an LLC or a corporation is in your best interest. But dont do it based on hearsay or a tv commercial.
