I just snapped a few photos of my Victorian cane sword. This one is the real deal; its very old. The shaft is black lacquer, the grip area is covered in ebony and it features a carved ivory ring and brass accents. The blade is hand made, it is a bit wavy and not like the perfect machines steel that we are accustomed to today. There are no markings on it anywhere. I was fortunate enough to come across it at a swap meet some thirty-odd years ago. About fifteen years ago I carried it for a week when I injured my leg at work. But I was concerned that something would happen to it, so I bought a plain wooden cane after the first week. Sage, this is the one that I mentioned.
