I just spent about 20 minutes looking for Danielles kitten - TopicsExpress

I just spent about 20 minutes looking for Danielles kitten Pickles. It went from yelling kitty, kitty in each room, to me getting some dry food and shaking it in a container, to a frantic me outside yelling AND shaking the food. He doesnt even go outside. Hasnt been since he was rescued, and never will be. However, I had already checked all the usual cat sleeping spots and they were vacant. QT and Grandpa were following me around, you know, with the food shaking and the kitty kitty chanting. I was completely convinced he had somehow slipped outside. Not sure how that had happened, since the doors are always closed promptly (even by the kids), but he was not answering me, and I was freaking out. Danielle screamed PICKLES right when I was about to go back outside to look and holler again for the kitten. I dont know where he was, but he sure didnt give a crap about me wanting him to come out, come out, wherever you are! *He was inside, btw.* He needs a collar with a bell! I would do that, but he does too much jumping and scaling high furniture. Id hate it if he somehow got his collar stuck and hung himself when I wasnt home. Yes, it does happen. Happened to a friends dog. :( Just more stuff I read about cats vs. dogs coming true. You yell for a dog, he comes running. You yell for a cat, he says leave a message and hell get back to you.
