I just spent two hours with Willow at Junes Boarding in Chapel - TopicsExpress

I just spent two hours with Willow at Junes Boarding in Chapel Hill TN. She was extremely happy to see me. Its almost as if she knew that I saved her. I got tons of puppy kisses (Im sure Tank is going to be mad when I get home). I sat on the floor in the kennel area and fed her some treats. I dropped off a nice big bed, two bags of food, 10 cans of wet food and 2 big bags of Beggin Strips. She will have plenty to munch on, and hopefully gain a little weight, while she is in boarding. June and Pat (the live-in doggy caregiver) are incredibly sweet and both raved about what a sweet, gentle love our Willow is. They also mentioned that long term boarding (30 days or more) is hard on dogs because they begin to think this is home and they adjust to that. Then when they are uprooted, transported and taken to their new home, they have to learn to adjust again. To be quite honest, I am more attached to Willow than I have ever been to ANY dog except Tank. So Im not going to leave her sitting there for 4-6 weeks while transport is mapped out (and to be honest, even then its not 100% if they dont get a driver for every leg of the run sheet). This crazy girl (me!) that you all love is going to drive Willow home next weekend. Yup. I have lost my damn mind. But shes worth it. And its what we do here, right?! So my dear sweet little one..... Hang tight.... Next weekend we are leaving Nashville and heading to Minnesota!!! xoxo ~ Felicia ~
