I just spoke to a very nice desk clerk at our hotel in Ireland next month and asked about the room assignment we were getting because we are there celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and really want a nice room. Andrea and I wanted to stay in the new section of the hotel because it is beautifully appointed and all the Trip Advisor and other sites reviews say that the new section is amazing to stay in, and we should avoid the old section which is in need of updating. He checked our reservation (as I was preparing to upgrade it) and I heard a bunch of typing then he said, Ive upgraded you to one of our corporate suites at no charge. I thanked him and asked if it was like the Georgian Suites and he said yes, and that it was among their nicest suites and he hoped wed have a great anniversary. Midwesterner charm for the win.
