I just spoke with Jeff Dunsavage of the Missing Americans Project and he gave me some great contacts in Belize. He knows the owner of Astrum Helicopters from a search that was conducted for his brother as well as another person there that provided a personal jet to help with the search. Im reaching out to the contact he provided. Jeff also mentioned that theres a unit called Joint Task Force Bravo stationed in Honduras that has 2 black hawks available for search and rescue operations. They dont advertise it but he said if we urge the Senators to push it that they will be deployed. They deployed them in the serach for his brother. Ted Cruz ((202) 224-5922)and John Coryn ((202) 224-2934) would be the contacts (sorry if thats redundant). He said to make sure and mention high altitude/ high resloution photography in the S&R operations when speaking to the Senators as well as finding a way to get the images to a place that can analyze them. Belize isnt equipped with the proper resources or high speed internet so the image will have to be hand delivered by flash drive or disk. Jeff is also going to enlist all of his contacts to support in ways that they can, including the paypal account when we get it set up. He seems to be well versed in search and rescue and well connected. Hopefully he can give us a boost. Now, bombard the Senators!
