I just talked to Jonny!!! He had a WONDERFUL day at school. There are 20 kids in his class and the class is grades 7-8-9, everyone is evaluated on their knowledge and then placed in smaller learning groups accordingly. He made several new friends and was delighted to find out that theyre all into the same things as him (nerf, leggos, etc). He spent the afternoon at one of his new friends houses, a boy who lives nearby and had lived in the US for a while. His new teacher is an Irishman named Kevin (just Kevin, lol!) and Kevin reminds Jonathan a lot of Mr. Martin from CDCH (our favorite teacher ever!). He said Kevin is really cool and super nice. He said his classroom reminds him of a high school science room (right up his alley). And I was wrong, the school day is not 9-4, its 8-2! Sweet! He said to me, Mommy? Yes, sweetie? Mommy, Im really happy I decided to stay here. ....... His happiness brings more joy to my heart than I can even explain.
