I just talked to Sue Redden. Her grandfather was Pete Redden, the man who started Playland Park. Her father and uncle also ran it. She worked there to the last day when IUSB bought the land in 1992. She has lots of memorabilia and photographs including the original signs and the actual deed her grandfather obtained from Springbrook Park. Im going to meet with her later this week to digitize all her photos at my office for her. Im also going to talk her into donating the digital picture files to the Center for History for their archives. So if anyone on here like Travis Childs can help me and Sue get the pics to the Center, please let me know. Im a member of the Center for History and plan on taking Sue and her photos over there. As far as posting the pics on this page, Ill leave that up to Sue Redden, being that they are her pics.
