I just thought I would share with those of you who have been thinking of getting solar that I am so excited about mine. I just received my first SCE bill today and it was for $1.95 and I have $101 credit and they are anticipating that I will have a $181 credit next month. I pay $145 a month for my system. During the summer I can use the credited money to pay if I use more electricity than my system produces. If I end up making more energy than I use over the 12 months Edison will pay me the money they owe me I used to pay $250 a month for level pay and had to run my air at 79 to 80 to keep my level pay that low. So I am super excited to be able to run my air this summer and actually be cool and pay less. If anyone has any questions on who we used please let me know. We did not purchase our system but leased instead as we will only be living here for the next 5 years or so and it did not make sense for us to purchase. For some people purchasing is a better option but it was not for us.
