I just told one of my family members, who knew I was on the job hunt for a while, that I landed a job with Aflac. When I said I got the job, they got excited, but did a haughty about-face when I said it was as an insurance agent. Now I may not be making 100K a year on some 9-to-5 job, but damn it, you better believe Im going to do the best damn job I can do. I just wish I could have gotten a little more support.
