I just tried on the blue sweater...and...I am ready to START THE CUFF!!! I tried it on while I was sitting on the couch knitting seemingly endless rows of stockinette stitch and when I saw that the left sleeve was just about to my wrist and it was time to evenly decrease to get the cuff started, I jumped up and cried out loudly. The cat jumped about a foot in the air and so did Daniel. My side pony tail that I was so proud of got all sorts of goofed up and my glasses flew right off my face because my dance of glee was so intense. It sounded like a heard of goats running through the dining room as I sprinted in to show Travis and Julie what I had discovered. They were also startled by my very flamboyant entrance and did not show nearly as much excitement as I had hoped, so I declared them bucket dippers and sulked back to my place on the couch and came back on the computer to check the pattern to make sure I get the right number of stitches for the last of the sleeve. I am so excited I can barely stand it. I could have bought about 10 sweaters for what I have put in to this one, but the satisfaction of having knit it myself is priceless.
