I just tried to carve the pre-birthday turkey that Michael requested (he turns 11 tomorrow but we are having the big dinner today). While cooking in the bag shortens the baking time, Im not sure my carving skills are up to the ask of cutting up a moist turkey. My mother would be proud as I pretty much destroyed the bird trying to cut nice slices of white meat. Oh well, it will go well with mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, green beans, and gravy.
