I just voted for a bill which nullifies the Presidents recent immigration executive actions, and prevents him (and future presidents) from issuing additional immigration executive orders. The Constitution is clear — it’s Congress’ responsibility to write the law and the president’s job is to simply enforce those laws. Now is the time for the Senate to act and I urge my Senate colleagues to take up this important piece of legislation. Watch more of my thoughts below:
