I just want to clear a few things up: First, I absolutely think Ebola is a serious issue. Ive never said any different. I am aware that its killed many and has the potential to do more damage, and much closer to home. Apparently people have misunderstood the meaning behind the photos Ive shared. My problem with the Ebola hype is that its only hype. And there is a big difference between hype and concern. I have seen people sharing articles left and right about Ebola, including one that claimed humans were coming back to life and that this was the start of the zombie apocalypse. Some of it has been completely ridiculous. So let me take a minute to explain a little bit about how some of these satirical websites make money. This is done through advertisement. They know that a catchy headline will get tons of visitors, thus they make a lot of money. More visitors, more money. They are profiting from your hype. Having said that, I just want my family and friends to do some research. Check your sources. Dont underestimate this, but dont freak out either. Just be informed. Thats all I ask.
