I just want to pay homage to the Island Conexion Band - I saw on some friends posts that they played their last gig together over the weekend?, I was actually guttered I couldnt be there. I have had the pleasure of singing and playing with this amazing band. The collective music experience of this unit is rare to find in any local band these days. They not only play Island music at its highest standard but if you listen carefully to their interpretation of top 40 songs too, it would be right up there with the best versions Ive heard from a live band to date. Any band that can facilitate 500-600 capacity Samoan weddings, I take my hat off to, because our Samoan wedding audiences are tough to crack a clap out of these days lol..but these guys have done it effortlessly and with so much charm and Charisma for so many years. All good things must come to an end I guess but your legacy will be remembered in the years to come.
