I just want to say Thank-You to everyone for all of your heartfelt messages. You are all amazing and were so lucky to have you in our lives. Wesley has left behind quite a legacy... Making the promise to do whats best was easy, keeping it was much harder and being here without him is even worse right now. Hes not where hes supposed to be and everything is out of whack. Ive been surrounded by people and animals, and as much comfort as theyve been, I still feel lonesome. Jen, Jazzy and I are walking around in circles. I always joked about him being our Fearless Leader, but its looking like he might really have been the glue that kept us all together... Why the giant bird photos, you ask? Well, Ive never seen this thing before, have no idea what it is or where it came from, but it appeared on the fence at 7G yesterday right before I was leaving, stayed just long enough for me to say Whoa, what the Hell is that? to myself, get the camera and snap a couple shots before it literally jumped down and disappeared into thin air... I dont know, but please Uncle Tom Gilbert, please tell me this isnt the biggest Quail that ever flew, cause if it is, then Im sure Wes sent it to us to let us know that This place is Great and Im having the Best Time Ever!!!, and as cool as that would be, its kinda freaking us out... And if its not the biggest Quail ever, then its definitely freaking us out...
