I just want to say Thank you to all the judges. Im so very thrilled to have received 3rd place. There is a back story to the picture and thought I would share. The Picture of my son and my grand father happened naturally. I just showed up to his place one evening and said were doing pictures. I wanted to capture my grand father as he always was, DIRTY. Fast forward a few months, my grandfather falls off his roof during an ice storm and breaks his leg. After he was discharged from hospital he comes to my place to get his hair trimmed (he was too cheap to got to a barber). As he is leaving, he looks at me and says, we need to redo the pictures of me and Jack as soon as my cast comes off. I said to him Its going to be hard to beat that picture he says to me U can do better. A few weeks later he died. He had cancer all over and we didnt know. So winning third place with this picture kind of feels like he is telling me it was good enough. Love WPPI!!! ;)
