I just want to say weve been through more than 10 times what most couples divorce over. But with that 1 Corinthians type of love, and only by the grace of God himself, we are still happily married. Everyday we face a permanent battle, a reversal of gender roles due to injuries and health conditions beyond our control. Often ridiculed by others, rarely understood by even the closest of family and friends. We both struggle with things most cannot imagine. But I am so grateful that God has given me this man to go through the struggles, heartaches, and burdens with. I ask you all for prayers not to fix our problems, but to give us the courage to not give in, to both continue to fight the good fight, and also to continually encourage each other.
