I just want to take a moment your of your busy day to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving and to tell you some of the things I am giving thanks for today. I’m giving thanks today for being a 7 year Cancer survivor. I am so thankful to still be here with my children and grandchildren. I am also thankful to have a roof over my head and food on my table. I am thankful to all of you for being here on IYGUIJC and for making it the best Jersey City site on FB. You share your memories and photos of your time growing up in JC that we all can relate to. I want to thank our “Historians” for all your research on our beloved city and sharing them with us. I want to thank all of our Good Morning posters for helping us to start the day off right, To all of you a great big thanks for keeping this site “clean” and free from controversy, so that everyone feels safe and enjoys coming here. Also as I mentioned on Jack Ricci’s post I want to give thanks to my grandparents for making that treacherous trip across the ocean, leaving their homeland forever, and landing in Jersey City where they raised their children which is how I came to be born in Jersey City. Wherever this day finds you be safe and enjoy. My love to all of you.
