I just want to take a second to thank the valley view #petsmart & all of their staff,including manager Greg Fessler II..since #angelsofassisi has partnered with them at the beginning of June to do kitties adoption from their store (which has been an awesome experience already adopting out well over 100 cats!!),they have been nothing short of amazing. They always welcome us with open arms & always willing to help an animal in need. Today they once again proved how awesome they are...Greg & the staff,especially groomer extrordonairre Annie, welcomed lil Blanche to her makeover grooming. As soon as #Blanche walked into the grooming salon there were gasp of Oh is that her?Is that the lil dog from Facebook?Oh look at her cute lil self! All while Blanche wagged her patchy bald tail fastly..Blanche pranced right over to greet everyone. She stood there in front of everyone completely naked except for her tiny collar for the first time since I rescued her from the pound..10 1/2 years old. 8lbs.. .no cute tshirt to cover up the bald spots or the spots I had to shave extra close to get the horrid mats that really close to the skin...or cover up her bad dandruff that she has because of the mats & being on her own for so long...but there she stood...proudly...With her lil crooked teeth pulled into a smile...excited for her makeover day at the petsmart salon!...happy . .. Annie will be giving her a good medicated bath ..trimming her lil teeny legs up..shaping up her patchy bald tail...shaping up her lil cute face & taming that unruly hairdo that we have all come to chuckle at...and also hooking up Blanche & doing her nails.plete with grinding..It makes my heart so happy to see this once abandoned little old frail gal on death row to an amazing sweet lil gal who spreads happiness where ever she goes...thank you so much Annie for being so sweet & understandin to both Blanche & I.... to Greg whos an amazing supporter of the rescue world & also my crazy ideas...& to all of the staff for making today a day that Blanche will never forget...& not will I....thank u from the bottom of my heart..
