I just want to thank every single person who has called, texted, emailed, and messaged me today. I appreciate every message. Its been a tough day so far and I can only pray and have faith that it will get better. Until Harley gets the all clear, I would like to ask everyone to please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers. To most, hes just a dog. To us, hes family. He is Emilys playmate. He has guarded her from the day we took her home from the hospital. No one could even sit on the bed if he was on it with her. We lost Harley once. That time, though heartbreaking, wasnt as difficult since he just disappeared. This time, to see him in the condition he was in was absolutely heart wrenching. My entire life I have been surrounded by dogs. Losing them, no matter the circumstance, was never easy. I am praying that Harley will stand strong and beat his injuries and make a come back. Even if hes a gypsy and was meant to float around, his destiny was always to be with us. Hes a dog of 11 lives. No matter what happens, he always finds his way back home. Thank you for your kind words and support. This has been a trying day and I am working really hard to keep it together. Harleys resilience has always amazed me. I pray that he makes it through this. For him to survive getting hit by a car, as little as he is, as old as he is (10). To make it back home through the trauma, pain, and vision in one eye in the dark is nothing short of amazing. Come on Harley Boy! Were rooting for you!
