I just wanted to let you know that plans for the 50th anniversary of Malawis independence are in progress. The plan is to have all Malawian communities in the US to celebrate together in Washington DC this July. The committee for the celebrations are trying to get as many Malawians (and friends of Malawi) as possible to this Jubilee celebration. It will be nice if there can be a representation from every state. So Im inviting all of you my Californian friends ... lets go and make our presence known, as we celebrate this important anniversary. A website is under-way, where you can find all the details.
