I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined the conversation with me earlier this evening as we were trying to find help for a young mom and her baby - who had no place to go tonight. We were able to get them housed this evening. A LOT of people have asked if she needs other items, and the answer is certainly yes. Any dollars received on her behalf will be used to directly assist her. Well be sure the baby has diapers, food items, etc. As well, well do our best to assist the mom with needs she has, as well. Donations can be in the form of check sent to the ERM at 500 E. Walnut St., Evansville, IN 47713. Send it directly to my attention, and well be sure its used as you indicate in the MEMO (put Regina there). You can also donate securely online on our website at EvansvilleRescueMission.org. Finally, cash donations can be dropped at the ERMs Administrative Center during regular weekday business hours (M-F 8:00 - 12:00; 1:00 - 5:00).
