I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped make OMSW - TopicsExpress

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped make OMSW 2014 such a success. Gord and I really could not have done it without our amazing team. I especially want to thank Evan Chong and Helen Su (or, as I accidentally and awesomely referred to them earlier today, team HEvan) who were the real heart of this conference - we really could not have done it without them. The rest of our team, Ming Lam, Jake Salituri, Hussam Kay, David Page, Karthiha Raveenthiran, Anuj Arora, Ryan Quinn, Austin MacDonald, and Alex Norgaard also all did a great job with their portfolios and worked really hard for the past year. Our volunteers were also amazing, and I cannot stress how much I appreciate all of you giving up what were incredibly busy weekends for both classes - CaRMS submission weekend, and the last weekend of pre-clerkship - to help us with this. OMSA was a wonderful support throughout the entire process and did an amazing job helping us out yesterday. Id like to thank my friend Kara McGowen for the beautiful logo she made for us. The McMaster MD Office, and especially the staff at the Niagara Regional Campus were so good to us throughout the entire process - whether it was through sponsorship, equipment, getting the venue, accepting packages, or even just being there for us, the staff continued to go above and beyond in making sure things went well. Last, but not least, Id like to thank my Co-Chair, Gord, especially for how great a job he did of stepping up to really support our sponsorship efforts when it was needed and for having been a great support throughout all of this. Im really happy with how everything turned out, and am so proud to have gotten the privilege to host the first ever OMSW at a DME site at my home campus in Niagara. Its been a wonderful, life-changing experience, and I hope that everyone who was part of making this happen is proud of what weve accomplished.
