I just wanted to share a little something. First of all...this is Don, not Kathy. I have failed so bad, so many times in my life. I have made so many mistakes...some major ones. But the one constant in my life has been my family. No matter what stupid thing I have done or what mistake I have made, they have always been there for me. They are the constant fact in my life. My family is the one thing...no matter what I do...I always know, they are there to pick me up, bandage my wounds, help me to get back up. I tell them that Im okay, Im tough, Im invincible...but in reality, Im just like everyone else...weak, frail, human. The older I get (I think Im 43ish now) the more I realize that family is really the only thing that is important in our lives. Yeah...we complain about crap everyday..stupid things, but do we really think about each other. The glad, sad, celebrations, agony, pain...do we really care about that, well in our family we do. I have observed, first hand, we overlook mistakes, weakness, and gather to someone in pain, sorrow and happiness. There are many times where several of us are going through moves or changes where we cannot be there for each other, we may try and give what little we can, but we have to focus on our personal situation. That does not mean we dont care about each other, it just means we are stressed and worried and trying to do the best we can in the current situation. Im so happy that my family cares enough to overlook my mistakes and flaws. I know many people that are from families that are petty and fight constantly, make nasty comments about each other, jealous of each others life situations. I cannot imagine Hunter talking crap about Doug, or Robbie stealing my shirts, or Danny telling stories about Dawn Ella, or any of you saying more than two things bad about me. In my 43 years on this earth, I have learned one important fact...we all need to thank God that we are in this family, because we have a GREAT Family...Awesome Family...Great Grandparents, Mothers, Fathers, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins...and most importantly....Brothers and Sister. Okay, Ill shut up now and go take off my clothes and flex in the giant mirror in my bedroom. I love my family!
