I just wanted to share something thats been stirring my heart this week and confirmed this morning. As Jamie mentioned before leading us in Whom Shall I Fear, she mentioned (paraphrase) we should go forward as a church and leave fear behind. If we truly believe greater is He who is in me, that there are chariots of fire filling the hills around us, then why do we fear? Because the devil *is* good at casing shadows; filling our heads with doubt and drawing our attention to the negative. I pray as we move forward in 2015, that we can stand firm in the Lord even as fears and doubts swirl around us. Dont shrink back because of fear. Claim authority in the name of Jesus over the dark forces around us! In fact, when we feel fearful, and doubtful, rejoice and seek God in it!!! Because when when were there, were likely to be getting close to where God wants us to be. Freedom, not fear.
