I just wanted to take a moment to thank our Pastors Roy Scates and Trella Friend Scates for the many ways they encourage us, love us, and challenges us. I praise God for bringing them into our lives at the Upper Room Church. Their ministry is making a difference! I cannot imagine the sacrifices that they made to pick up everything and leave their family in Arkansas to accept the calling that God has laid upon their heart. To Bro. and Sis. Scates, please know that your ministry has and is making an impact that will only be fully seen in Heaven. From the bottom of my heart, and on behalf of those who haven’t said it, thank you for all that you do!!! Thank you for praying for the church and for your countless Holy Ghost filled sermons. Thank you for being sensitive to the Lord’s leading. Thank you for challenging and prodding us to draw closer to the Lord in these last days. I thank God that you are challenging us not to become satisfied with where we are in Christ but encouraging us to strive for more of Gods blessings and more of Gods promises. We love you both and will continue to pray and support you!!! I ask all those who read this to stop and pray a special prayer for our Pastors as they continue their revival in North Caroline and travel back to WV. Be Blessed!
