I just wanted to tell people something due to the high number of stolen vehicles being posted up all over facebook. 1. Everyone, please lock your doors even if your at home and lock your front gate. I have had people try to steal shit from my house even when Im there. It wont stop some people because if they are determined enough, they will do it. Just make it a little harder and slow their progress. 2. Nowadays cars have security systems which means you have to have the keys to steal the car. Hide your keys where it is not obvious to find. For example do not leave your car keys on a kitchen bench, coffee table or a bowl or key rack. 3. Do not let strangers in to use your bathroom or etc. I have seen this happen before and this will not end well. 4. If you are leaving the house or even in the house. Try and close curtains to stop people from peering in. 5. If you have pets, listen out for any unusual behaviour from them. This might set off any alarm bells (SUGGESTED BY Ben Firley). I guess these are some helpful tips that have worked for me to stop people from breaking into my place and stealing. Hopefully it helps and there will be a reduction in the number of stolen vehicles as we proceed further into the year.
