I just watched The Equalizer for the second time and damn this movie rocks. This seems like a role Denzel was born to play. He plays the part smooth and is not overly flashy. He does not need to over-act a role like this anyways. It also helps that this film was directed by Antoine Fuqua who also directed Replacement Killers. Which still remains to this day as one of my favorite films from the 90s. I also loved the old TV show this was based off of and Im glad this honors it well.
