I just watched a documentary film about Aaron Swarz. You can view it for free on Youtube here: youtu.be/vXr-2hwTk58 After I finished watching the film, I used duckduckgo to search was Aaron Swarz murdered? and found the following site: chronicle.su/2013/01/13/aaron-swartz-was-murdered/ It seems there is reason to question a suicide without any indication prior to it. I had a good friend who committed suicide, and I clearly recall something that was out of character for him happening a month or so before he took his own life. My friend invited my wife and myself over to his apartment. When we got there, he spent a lot of time showing us a film he had been working on and asked us what we thought of it. We told him we were very impressed and hoped he would be able to finish it, as it was not yet. complete. We talked about many things. When we left, he said good bye. Those were words he rarely used. Later, after he had committed suicide, we realized that he had been wrapping up loose ends and that this was in fact, a symptom we should have recognized, but we did not recognize it until after the fact of his death. But looking at The Internets Own Boy it seems Aaron Swarz did not wrap up any loose ends. Apparently, he did not leave any messages for anyone. So, that begs the question, was Aaron Swarz suicided by someone? Knowing how many folks were unhappy about the massive defeat of SOPA and PIPA at the hands of Aaron Swarz, and knowing how many folks were about to be exposed during Aarons trial for ripping off the public by making people pay for access to publicly funded research papers, I wonder if someone didnt decide the best way to get rid of this political irritant was to make a murder look like suicide? There have been other examples of people being suicided at the hands of the powers that be because of some inconvenient event that happened. I am not sure that two years ago almost to the day, that is not what happened to Aaron Swarz.
