I just watched a video of a Palestinian Mother wailing, and I do mean, her heart and soul torn right out of her very chest, because she was searching for her son, who was killed, just a boy. I do not share this video because the hordes of TV cameras stuck in the Mothers face angered me when all she needed was support and comfort. Instead, it was more important to film her pain instead of helping her. There are no rational answers here, only more death. I pray for her solace and for all families losing loved ones over, well, nothing that deserves killing of children. Something to think about as you go about your day. Hug your child, be grateful for what you have, and find compassion for those who are forced to exist in realities they are unable to escape. Every human life is divine.
