I just watched a video on Facebook about a guy whose house burnt down because of some 9 volt batteries that were in the garbage and burst into flames after they got jostled around. The man explained the best way to dispose of 9 volt batteries is to tape the end of the battery with electrical tape. Well, this scared me so much so that I went through my own apartment pulling out every 9 volt battery I could find and doing a little disposing of my own. No, I didnt use electrical tape. I simply chucked them across the yard. Let the squirrels and rabbits and other cute, furry critters of nature worry about them. So now Im safe. Except for the tactical thermonuclear device under my bed. But Im keeping that. Is this wrong?
