I just watched five seconds of something that has changed my perception of humanity forever. And NOT for the good. I realize that cultures are different. That we different upbringings and traditions. I get that, I do. But we must have some commonality. Things we can say we all share. Like respect, compassion, decency, etc... Even if its not always apparent, its reassuring to know that when push comes to shove, it will resurface. At least thats what I want to believe. I will surround myself with like minded people. I will focus on the positive things in my life and those I love. And help positively impact the world around me, in whatever way I can. While the video I witnessed was traumatic, Im going to take the experience and embrace my blessed life. Because any alternative would be tragic. Have a great weekend everyone.
