I just watched this documentary called BRIDEGROOM that tells the emotional journey of Shane and Tom, two young men in a loving and committed relationship — a relationship that was cut tragically short by a misstep off the side of a roof. The story of what happened after this accidental death– of how people without the legal protections of marriage can find themselves completely shut out and ostracized. It changes my view about things. If you think I or my fellow Gay people dont deserve the same rights as you, then delete me. I am Gay, I never have nor will I ever be the type of person to throw that in others faces. What I expect is the same respect/rights toward my Gay friends and loved one as I give you in toward your family/friends and choices. If you feel the need to tell me how wrong my life is, delete me. If you feel the need to tell me I dont deserve the same rights you have, delete me. I dont need hate in my life be it friend or family.
